Three-way ball valves achieve on-off operation by rotating the spherical plug. They are available in L-type and T-type configurations. The T-type can connect or isolate three mutually perpendicular pipelines, enabling flow diversion and merging, while the L-type is designed to connect two adjacent pipelines for distribution purposes. Body materials include cast steel, stainless steel, and bronze. The valve features a compact design, reliable sealing, and requires only a 90° rotation to fully open or close.
Two three-way ball valves can be configured as a coordinated ball valve assembly to enable linked handle operation. When paired with limit switches, they can provide remote feedback of open/close status signals.
