A pressure-reducing valve regulates the flow of the working medium by adjusting the opening of the valve element within the valve body, thereby reducing the medium’s pressure. At the same time, the downstream pressure acts to further modulate the valve element’s opening, maintaining the downstream pressure within a specified range. With constant inlet pressure, the outlet pressure is kept within the set limits, thus ensuring the stable operation of downstream piping components. Working media include air, steam, liquids, and others. The valve body can be made from cast steel, bronze, or stainless steel.
