A butterfly valve is a type of valve that controls the flow of liquids, gases, and other media by rotating a disc-shaped element around an axis.
Based on structural features, valves can be classified as center-type, double-eccentric, and triple-eccentric types. According to connection method, they are available in wafer-style, lug-style, and flanged configurations. Depending on the actuation method, options include manual operation, electric actuation, pneumatic actuation, and hydraulic actuation. Body materials include cast iron, cast steel, and stainless steel; disc materials comprise bronze and stainless steel; and internal rubber linings include nitrile rubber, fluororubber, EPDM, and others. Customization is available to meet specific customer requirements.
