The Y-type strainer is an indispensable component in piping systems for conveying media. It features a Y-shaped configuration and is typically installed at the inlet of pressure-reducing valves, relief valves, level-control valves, or other equipment to remove impurities from the medium, thereby ensuring the proper operation and protection of valves and associated equipment. This strainer boasts an advanced design, low flow resistance, and convenient drainability. It is suitable for use with water, oil, gas, and other media. The body is available in cast steel, bronze, and stainless steel, while the filter element is made of stainless steel.
