A safety valve is installed on pressurized equipment, vessels, or piping as an overpressure protection device. When the pressure inside the equipment, vessel, or piping rises above the allowable limit, the safety valve opens to relieve pressure, thereby preventing the pressure from continuously increasing beyond the predetermined safe value. Once the pressure drops to the specified setpoint, the safety valve automatically closes, ensuring the safe operation of the equipment, vessel, or piping.
The main body of the safety valve is available in cast steel, bronze, and stainless steel. The set pressure can be customized according to customer requirements.
